Facilities and Hire

We have a big comfortable bar with multi-screen televisions (including big screen) for live sport,  and facilities for pool, darts and dominoes. We have a smaller comfortable lounge bar.  There is a function room with stage, sprung dance floor and buffet layout area. All three of these rooms have a licensed bar serving a range of draught  beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. There is good car parking, wheelchair access ramps and accessible toilets. There are also two meeting rooms available.

 

The Function Room, Lounge and Meeting Rooms are available for hire at very competitive rates and free of charge for events supporting some charities and good causes. Table linen and chair covers can also be hired.

 

Room hire may be available outside of normal opening hours for special occasions.

Birtley St Joseph's CMS Club and Parish Centre (Birtley Catholic Club) is a social club. We are committed to providing  a welcoming, comfortable and safe environment for members and their guests to enjoy social activities. Membership is open to everyone if 18 years or older and committed to the purpose and objects of the club. There are no restrictions to membership on the basis of gender, religion or ethnicity.  While the club's origins and current management structure are closely aligned with St Joseph's Catholic Church our facilities are available to the wider community to use both as members and hirers of rooms. We are particularly keen to support local community groups, charities and other good causes and may offer facilities free of charge where appropriate.
